history of Guelma
The state of Tebessa is located in the area of the high plateaus in the far east of Algeria, which is about 650 km from the capital and rises by 900 m above sea level and shares with the Republic of Tunisia in the border strip at a distance of 297 km, where there are four (04) border posts represented in: Laayoune, Bouchabaka, El-Mreij, Btita. It is bordered to the north by the state of Souk Ahras, to the south by the governorate of El-Oued, to the east by the Republic of Tunisia, and to the west by the two states of Khenchela and Oum El Bouaghi.
